Summer Reading Adventures

From focusing on reading comprehension to learning about history, this year’s program was so much fun. It helped that our theme “Unearth a Story” revolved around dinosaurs. I mean, who doesn’t like a T-Rex, a Brontosaurus, or a Pterodactyl? Obviously, the kids loved the theme because every day the got so excited to learn more about dinosaurs. We had more dinosaur-themed books checked out than ever before. Thanks to everyone who participated! You made this year’s program a blast! embarassed

Final day of Summer Reading. We had more people enjoy our pizza party, awards celebration, and foam party than ever before. It was such an enjoyable day. Thanks to EVERYONE who participated! We hope you had a fabulous library experience.

Help us collect back-to-school items so that we can stuff backpacks to be delivered to Lewis Cass Elementary. Please bring the new items (see list) to the library by 5 pm July 24th. 

We will stuff the backpacks and make sure they end up in the hands of the counselors who will hand out the stuffed backpacks to students who need supplies. 

Your help, whether through items or financial donations, is greatly appreciated. We know the students will greatly benefit.
